Job Description

We are currently recruiting for  Manager Events for one of our Aviation client  to be based out of their office in Dubai.

The purpose of this job is to provide executive support to the Senior Manager – Events & Marketing Operations & Projects in planning and implementing Exhibitions, Events, special projects and on-ground activations for the company and its units and thereby deliver excellent service to each Unit. Job holder is required to manage events all the departments. Has to meet the Units and understand their needs, provide them with solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage in planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, on-ground activations, Dubai Airshow 2025, Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner 2025 and other events organized by Dubai Airports internal and external.
  • Manage in briefing the agencies and ensuring the work for the events is delivered.
  • Manage the delivery of the events with internal Dubai Airports Units and stakeholders.
  • Prepare project plans for events that are being organised.
  • Updating the Project tracker and keeping the Project Manager and VP informed.
  • Maintain and update the events Calendar.
  • Support the Senior Manager – Events & Marketing operations for all ground logistics and technical production of events that are organized by the company.
  •  Manages and works with stakeholders, external contractors and suppliers and gathers the requirements to deliver the event support that is committed by company for large scale events.
  • Manage and build strong, pro-active relationships with Supply Management, Finance, HSSE, AOCC and suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fluent written and spoken English skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment (with all levels of people).
  • Should possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Keen attention to details and familiar with figures and financial documents.
  • Excellent supplier handling skills.
  • Proactive, committed, and flexible.
  • Ability to work long irregular hours.
  • Timely management of projects.
