Job Description

  • Management visit presentation (as & when required) –DS-VP , CEO Visit
  • Ad hoc analyses/reports as required by management (drafted R&M loan matrix policy, manpower planning)
  • Analysis/ reports required by Ops Controller / GZBM
  • Annual budget preparation
  • External & internal audit points –submission of support for samples / close out of audit points
  • Month end closing entries –UR accruals, cost review, variance analysis, proper cost booking / coding, reclassifications, corrections
  • R&M forecast files preparation and submission to MENA districts
  • R&M cost forecast vs actuals analysis
  • KPI scorecard
  • Monitoring & calculating team’s monthly labor utilization
  • Timetrac /timesheet review & rectifications
  • Review of efficiency per tool type
  • Closed WO actual cost review vs standard
  • Intercompany billings –max 25th of each month, in coordination with supervisors & GBL PL asset manager
  • Borrowed labor calculation & recharges
  • Fixed assets -scrap assets routing requests, custom duty confirmation, as applicable
  • Resolution of ICP mismatches & disputes
  • Coordination of supplier payment & follow ups (overdue / payment issues)
  • OT review, preparation & submission to payroll team
  • AP accrual review and submission to AP team
  • LB rate calculation / re-calculation, update in JDE if required
  • JDE system set up – BU creation as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelors’ degree in Accounting is essential.
  • Minimum of eight years related accounting experience.
  • Prior experience of working in a multinational organization is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and comply with strict deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial procedures is essential.
  • Strong experience in tax accounting is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Should be detail oriented and have the ability to produce high quality work products.
  • Prior experience of working with external auditors/advisors is required.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Should have experience of working with BTP Software.
  • The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Oil and gas experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience with statutory reporting and income tax preparation and filling is preferred.
