Job Description

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers, carriers, or internal departments.
  • Post “Invoice batches” before forwarding to Cost Control
  • Ensure that a proper filing system is in place.
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Store man on any discrepancy facing the Receiving.
  • Check arithmetic accuracy and invoices. 
  • Update the invoice in the system with received items.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy, damages, or defects.
  • Verify quantities and quality of received items against purchase orders.
  • Participate in other department stock-takes and month-end closing as assigned. 
  • Assist in verifying the market list on a daily basis. 
  • Reports any discrepancies to Cost Controller
  • Organize and maintain the receiving area for easy access and efficient workflow.
  • Assist in cyclical beverage inventory counts.
  • Working within a multicultural team

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s professional experience in a Receiving Department (previous hospitality experience preferred)   
  • Strong knowledge of JANA Sky Purchasing Management.
  • Excellent communication skills including a high level of impact and influence. 
  • Experience of working with a multicultural team
  • Candidates must have excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
