Job Description

The Procurement Specialist will manage day-to-day procurement activities focused on tactical sourcing, purchasing process, and vendor management. The role is responsible for ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with company policies. This position involves working closely with internal stakeholders to meet their purchasing needs while maintaining a focus on cost control, delivery timelines, and supplier quality.

  • Manage the procurement cycle, manage purchase requisitions, sourcing, evaluation and award, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Conduct supplier negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery schedules and product quality, and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays or disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Work with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and ensure procurement activities align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Coupa, SAP ERP or procurement systems for managing purchase orders, invoices, and supplier databases.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to drive value and cost savings.
  • Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in managing supplier relationships to ensure service levels and compliance.
