Job Description

The successful candidates will be responsible to organise, analyse data, and maintain systematic computerized records related to premiums, which will ensure an efficient control on the underwriting of the company’s business.

  • Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Handle day to day underwriting functions in a prompt manner by adhering to the prescribed guidelines and procedures
  • Monitor the progress of risk management of the clients, claims history, and other relevant information to determine coverage and premium rates.
  • Ability to scrutinize new submissions received and analyze the risk in line with Underwriting Guidelines in support of underwriting decisions
  • Ensure New & Renewals  policy documents, Terms & Conditions and endorsement documents and all service requests are processed accurately and delivered to clients within the defined KPI’s
  • Must provide highest standard of customer experience to all business partners & clients

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holding a relevant university degree or general insurance qualification
  • Having over 1-3 years of work experience in the field of Motor underwriting handling similar job responsibilities.
  • Experience and sound technical knowledge in handling motor retail and fleet underwriting and operations or related line of insurance
  • Ability to prioritize workload in meeting deadlines and agreed TAT
