Job Description

The School of Engineering is seeking qualified and motivated instructors in Mathematics to join in September 2024. The successful candidate will primarily support the teaching/tutoring of mathematics, particularly at the Freshman level, to students pursuing degrees in Business, Management, Computer Science and Engineering.

The candidate is expected to teach in one or more the following subjects:

  • College Algebra to Freshman business and computer science students
  • Pre-Calculus Mathematics for engineering students
  • Statistics and Data Analysis to Freshman business and computer science students
  • Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science students at Year 2 level

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience teaching/tutoring mathematics to a wide range of students. The candidate is expected to work in accordance with the course curriculum and teaching plans, as well as take attendance and be involved in marking. Experience in using innovative approaches to teaching mathematics is desirable. 

  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics from a recognised international institute
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics
  • Teaching experience at an internationally recognised institution
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
