Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Highway Design Engineer to join our team! Performs a variety of highway engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques for road and highway design and analyses within road discipline.
Assignment may be to a structured rotational program which would include experience in all aspects of Highway Design field, as well as Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management, and through several other disciplines in Engineering. Most of project design assignments will involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is also expected.
Will be further trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in highway engineering work experience of minimum 2 years in Highway Design/Engineering Consultancy.
Basic engineering knowledge in highway design and any other knowledge in structural, electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field will be beneficial.
Familiarity with AutoDesk Civil 3D, Bentley Microstation and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also required.
