Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable candidate for the Cashier role to assist our operation team. In this role, you will be operating cash registers, maintain cash balance, sort currency, and administer cash requests.

  • Processing Petty Cash payments for all company employees by verifying that the respective approvals have been taken
  • Processing Business Trip payments for all company employees by verifying that the respective approvals have been taken
  • Ensure that there is sufficient cash in the cash drawer
  • Accurately and efficiently operate cash registers
  • Maintain correct cash balances at cash registers
  • Sort, count and wrap coins and currency
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
  • Resolve employees’ complaints, guide them through the relevant information
  • Answer employee’s questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
  • Maintain checkout operations and report needed changes.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School diploma, any other diploma is accepted
  • Prior work experience as a cashier
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A good understanding of accounts and report writing
