Job Description

Skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee our joinery and air-conditioning repair workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and craftsmen, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and delivering excellent customer service.

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly cleaning pool surfaces, filters, and pumps to maintain water clarity and hygiene.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop staff, including joiners and air-conditioning technicians.
  • Assign tasks and projects to team members, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Workshop Management: Manage workshop operations efficiently, including resource allocation, inventory control, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Implement and enforce workshop policies and procedures to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Technical Expertise:Utilize technical knowledge and experience to troubleshoot complex joinery and air-conditioning issues.
  • Assist team members with technical challenges, interpretation of technical drawings, and implementation of repair and installation procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in joinery and air-conditioning technologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all joinery and air-conditioning repair work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews of completed work to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Customer Service:Interact with clients to understand their requirements, provide estimates for repair or installation projects, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience (X years) in a supervisory role within the joinery and air-conditioning repair industry.
  • Solid understanding of joinery techniques, air-conditioning systems, and related equipment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications. 
  • Certification or diploma in joinery, HVAC systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales roles.
