Directly supervise and coordinate activities of associates engaged in landscaping or groundskeeping activities. Answering inquiries from potential customers regarding methods, materials and machine.
Handle assigned duty post and ensure adherence to laid down rules and regulations.
Provide associates with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines.
Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
Recommend changes in working conditions or equipment use to increase crew efficiency.
Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
Confer with other supervisors to coordinate work activities with those of other departments.
Direct activities of team members who perform duties, such as landscaping, cultivating lawns, or pruning trees and shrubs.
Routine inspection of the premises. Follow-up routine activity of the garden department. Make a list of materials required and report to the line manager.
Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers
Monitor and maintain the health of plants
A reliever during the passionate grooms (animal caretaker) rest day, leave or out of duty by feeding animals, and cleaning their enclosures.
