Job Description
- Capable of handling multiple projects (such as FEED, Detailed engineering, Residual engineering and vendor engineering)
- Responsible for safe, technically accurate, and cost effective HVAC system designs and deliverables
- Responsible for compliance with applicable specifications and standards, and completion of work within project budget and schedule.
- Supervising and directing a HVAC Engineering Team, and directly performing tasks as required. These tasks include HVAC heat load calculation, System and equipment selection, HVAC drawings, equipment layout, HVAC P&ID/Control diagrams, HVAC Air flow diagrams, HVAC specification, datasheet and MTO.
- Checking and approval of HVAC deliverables
- Evaluate vendors technical bid offers
- Reviewing with the Project Engineering Manager / Project Engineers all the needs and technical aspects which can affect the schedule of the project.
- Update Progress as per project schedule , provide input for monthly progress reports.
- Review requests for changes and if outside the scope of work, submit to Project Engineering Manager an estimate of man-hours, material, and any impact to schedule.
- Carryout manhour estimations as part of proposal and provide input to execution strategy
- Observing the ethic of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Clients or Third Parties.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry.
- Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel & HAP (Hourly Analysis program) software.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling for Equipment, duct works and accessories
- Familiarity with International Design Guidelines and Standards
