Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join our Legal team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone.

 

Scope: The Paralegal role is primarily responsible for conducting legal research, managing internal stakeholder communication, and providing support to other members of the legal team and the wider business as it pertains to legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify cost saving opportunities by working with the business units and Government and Public Relations Officers
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal departments and external partners to facilitate efficient legal operations
  • Manage internal stakeholder communication regarding legal matters, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies across the organization
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics including regulatory compliance, labor laws, and contractual obligations within the construction, manpower, aviation, hospitality, and security industries
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations and advise stakeholders on potential impacts
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Identify external processes that can be moved online to save time and money
  • Stay abreast of customs and regulations to ensure that Transguard remains compliant with regulations
  • Identifying and implementing contractual changes required to ensure Transguard is adequately protected

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or related field required
  • 3 years’ previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal compliance role preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, can effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
  • Fluent in English, Arabic speaker will be a plus
