As a Lifeguard you will be responsible for the overall safety of guests across various locations of the resort, keeping pool areas clean, answering Guest questions, enforcing policies, rules, and regulations of recreation locations. The right candidate will enjoy interacting with guests and solving issues as they arise while having fun in the sun!

You will be working 5/6 days per week over 48 hours and will be rotated over different areas across the resort – from the resort pools, Aquaventure Waterpark to designated beach areas. As a Lifeguard, you will provide instructions to riders and swimmers, dispatch guests from rides and always enforce safety regulations. You must be able to stand for long periods of time, tolerate very hot conditions and be physically fit.

You will have the opportunity to attend a minimum of four hours of safety training per month in order to remain a highly competent Lifeguard and further develop your skills, be coached and developed by your seniors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous Lifeguarding or Swimming Instructor experience is preferred but not essential as long as you have the ability to swim 200 meters continuously, tread water and the physical ability to perform work that will involve listing guests.
  • You must have strong observational skills to proactively identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed with strong verbal communication skills.
