Job Description

To lead the front of house staff to successfully uphold the core values of ATI & the brand. Consistently presenting and promoting brand integrity, product quality and customer service standards through delegation and leading by example.

 Work directly with the manager on duty to support, direct and motivate staff.

  • Maintain open lines of communication with management and staff in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the bakery.
  • Assist management with scheduling of breaks and meal periods; supports management with the adherence to policies, procedures and job assignments.  Train staff on Company process, policies, procedures and job assignments.
  • Perform regular daily store activities such as opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform good customer service by assisting customers in person or on the phone.  Answer product and order inquiries.
  • Demonstrate teamwork within the bakery by leading by example and working side by side promoting the ideals of teamwork.
  • Ensure each customer receives exceptional customer service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of exceptional customer service.  Effectively directs and leads staff to deliver the same quality service.
  • Resolve customer problems with a sense of urgency.
  • Create DTS, manage breaks, and manage tips.
  • Assume the role of any FOH position that needs to be filled or needs assistance.
  • Completing/filling out any required paperwork or training material and ensuring other FOH staff do the same.
  • Help to create a development plan for each FOH employee to maintain full individual potential.

Physical demands and work environment

  • Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
  • Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers and management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification in Food and Beverage/ Catering would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience overseeing 10 or more employees in a food service or retail service environment.
