Perform instrumentation maintenance tasks on safety and non-safety related Systems, Structures and Components as prescribed to effectively maintain the plant and ensure high equipment reliability and performance. Perform ST’s/PT’s and PM’s in accordance with the surveillance and PM programs.
Responsibilities:
Perform instrumentation maintenance job tasks in a timely manner and with quality to achieve operational readiness and to operate with the highest level of safety and reliability.
The Balance of Plant (BOP) I&C equipment, specifically the turbine building open/close cooling water system, plant water treatment system, instrument air system, plant Hydrogen, Carbon Dioxide, & Nitrogen gas treatment system, auxiliary steam system, etc.
Review work packages for operation and outage maintenance activities to ensure and improve the quality of the work packages.
Perform proper and timely preparation and staging of instrumentation maintenance work activities including the submission of procurement requests for equipment spare parts and special tools to ensure instrumentation maintenance activities are properly resourced.Consolidate the list of spare parts and secure critical spare parts to ensure system operability.
Implement foreign material exclusion (FME) program in accordance with the program requirements and guidelines to ensure plant safety and reliability.
Utilize the Corrective Action Program (CAP) to identify plant deficiencies and improve performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
