General Technician Job

 The General Technician is responsible to assist in providing the below task;

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and other general works as directed by the Shift-In charge
• Complete work orders, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) orders and Contract Work Authorisations (CWA) as directed
• Select correct materials from the engineering stores
• Organise work in a skilled and professional manner
• Advise supervisor colleagues promptly of any problems or failures
• Ensure safe working conditions for yourself and your colleagues and report any unsafe working conditions to senior colleagues
• Ensure that work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition
• Use mechanical/technical test equipment and instruments 
• Work on own initiative without full detailed supervision or direction 
• Perform other duties which are reasonably required from the Chief Engineer
• Ensures implementation of Holiday Inn  Policies, Standards, and Procedures in relation to engineering fairly and consistently.
