Tooling Technician Job

As Tooling Technician, you will be required to improve on time of Product Delivery and sustaining projects to an acceptable level, as well as Performing production machining operations specified by the Manufacturing Order Package

• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
• Need to maintain the inventory of tools and fixture.
• Need to maintain the in/out log accurately.
• Ensure that all gauges and fixtures are fit for use.
• Need to ensure that all gauges are meeting as per the calibration procedure.
• Good mechanical aptitude, including developing skills in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Follows the competency management program requirements and works under GENERAL supervision.
• Initiate the replacement for damaged tools/fixtures.
• Maintain the tooling stock based on the shop demand.
• Monitor the consumptions and usage with the given budget.
