Job Description

As a graphic designer, I am responsible for shaping and maintaining the organization’s brand identity through visually appealing and innovative design solutions. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling visual content that elevates our brand presence and engages our target audience.

  • Create compelling daily email templates and captivating artwork for internal communications.
  • Utilize advanced graphic design expertise for video and motion graphics editing, enhancing visual storytelling.
  • Develop creative assets for office branding, creating a visually appealing and cohesive workplace environment.
  • Design assets for events and activations, leaving your creative imprint on GMG’s visual representation.
  • Collaborate with employer brand, brand experience, corporate communications, digital marketing, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) professionals.
  • Manage and deliver projects for the MENA and SEA markets, ensuring relevant cultural and market-specific adaptations.
  • Communicate with external vendors to execute and produce brand materials.
  • Manage and maintain internal platforms such as employee portals and employee communication platforms
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders cross-functionally, such as GMG’s brand marketing team, health and safety department, learning and development, talent acquisition, and more.
  • Drive the continuous evolution of the GMG brand, contributing to a dynamic visual narrative.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Multimedia Design Software: Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.), as well as familiarity with emerging design tools and technologies.
  • Typography and Layout: Strong typographic and layout skills, with the ability to create visually appealing and balanced compositions.
  • Digital and Print Media: Expertise in designing for both digital and print media.
  • Information Visualization: Skill in translating complex data and concepts into easily digestible and visually engaging graphics, infographics, and data visualizations.
  • Brand Management: Ability to uphold and advocate for brand identity, ensuring that all design work adheres to brand guidelines while creatively extending the brand as needed.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute design projects, while maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
