Masdar is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and under this ownership the company is targeting a renewable energy portfolio capacity of at least 100 gigawatts (GW) by 2030 and an annual green hydrogen production capacity of up to 1 million tonnes by the same year.

Job Description

To lead activities related to research and creation of English language content for external and internal communications that positions the Zayed Sustainability Prize as a global thought-leader in the sustainability industry.

  • Create and revise content for messaging, internal communications, press/media/editorials/reports, website/digital platforms, marketing materials and events/speaking opportunities
  • Translate projects, assets and insights into compelling content accessible to outside audiences – on behalf of Zayed Sustainability Prize and as needed.
  • Research and develop content for the Prize’s monthly newsletter
  • Serve as a gatekeeper to proof content and ensure quality control; maintain effective system of review and approval so that all relevant feedback is incorporated; create and maintain editorial style guides to ensure language consistency and accuracy
  • Maintain productive relationships with relevant internal and external partners to keep abreast of industry news and company strategies to maintain relevance of all communication materials
  • Maintain good working relationships with all departments to ensure cooperative and prompt approvals and the constant flow of requisite information 
  • Contribute to the Prize’s thought leadership series, Voices of Sustainability, including finding global thought leaders to be featured. Contribute to developing concept notes and all other content related to the series.
  • Conduct research for speaking opportunities, industry intelligence, messaging and spokesperson positioning

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications 
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in content development gaining strong language and editorial skills or an equivalent experience
  •  Advanced communication skills in English (verbal and written) Arabic would be an advantage
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent computer literacy, with strong background in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent ability to plan and organize work
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
