Job Description

WSP Middle East are currently looking for an experienced BIM Modeller – Building Services (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Civil background) to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for diverse building services projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within a leading global engineering firm.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for building services projects, including mechanical, electrical, public health, and civil systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate BIM models and ensure model consistency and accuracy.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using BIM software, adhering to project requirements and deadlines.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM models to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they reflect the latest design and construction information.
Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices in BIM modelling.
Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders on BIM-related processes and software.
Participate in project meetings, offering insights and solutions related to BIM and building services design.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modeling within the building services or construction industry.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows specific to building services.
Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection in complex building projects.
Experience in large-scale building services projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments.
