Job Description

To provide professional individual and group yoga classes, assistance to guests in meditation, mind-body connection, proper posture technique, and personal yoga instruction. To create wellness programs, retreats, and calendars. Ensures professional and consistent SPA & WELLNESS services according to the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) assessment the global market leader in quality assurance assessments and benchmarking analysis for the luxury hospitality industry. Drive revenue daily to ensure daily, monthly & yearly targets are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • To conduct individual and group yoga, breathing techniques, posture, meditation sessions, and mind–body classes.
  • To assist in organizing and conducting workshops and events.
  • Evaluate individuals’ abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs.
  • Monitor guests ‘ progress and adapt programs as needed
  • Provide Pre and Post fitness & wellness assessments.
  • Observe guests and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement.
  •  Motivate guest to ensure that they achieve their personal fitness and wellness goals.
  • Assists in maintaining and improving the overall performance goals of the organization.
  • Ensures the health and safety of clients during training sessions or classes.
  • Refer to and promote wellness & fitness programs, packages, and Spa treatments and facilities
  • Daily checks of each wellness equipment and ensure they are in good condition and safe for guests to use.
  • Administer emergency first aid to injured persons.
  • Carry out First Aid and CPR if needed
  • Follow safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Explain applicable safety rules and regulations.
  • Develop and implement individualized wellness & fitness programs for clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified Yoga teacher
  • High school graduate
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally
  • Minimum of two years experience in performing therapy services. 
  • National certification (NESTA, Yoga Alliance, NETA)
  • Qualification in additional Alternative therapies
  • C.P.R Certification
  • Qualifications in any wellness integrative modalities, (e.g. NLP, Nutritionist, Reiki.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous active practice as a certified practitioner
  • Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client’s needs
